Located at 1502 Alabama St, Houston, TX 77004,  the Station Museum of Contemporary Art is a contemporary art museum. It is the largest art museum in the state and is also one of the most comprehensive in the U.S. The Museum features exhibitions, programs and events that explore issues of culture, art and design.

The Station Museum of Contemporary Art is an art space that features the work of artists from around the world. The Museum has exhibited work by many different artists and cultural groups, and has also commissioned works for public spaces. The Station Museum of Contemporary Art features artists from all over the world, and aims to encourage visitors to view art that is diverse and unique. 

The Museum hosts a variety of programs, including an Art Forum Lecture Series, a lecture series sponsored by the Department of Art and Design. The museum also features a permanent collection of art and artifacts that have been donated by many of the artists that have exhibited at the Museum. The Station Museum of Contemporary Art features exhibitions from an array of artists, including David Humphrey, Anne Katrine Senstad, Lucky DeBellevue, Noah Simblist, Julie Heffernan, Annabel Daou, and Farideh Sakhaeifar. The artists have exhibited at many different museums, galleries, and other venues throughout the world. They have also been awarded various grants and awards, including the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellowship, the National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship in Sculpture, and a Rome Prize. The Museum also hosts an exhibition devoted to Robert Rauschenberg, which traveled to the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia and the Orange County Museum of Art in Newport Beach.
