Seeking SPI Technical Consultant

Seeking an SPI Technical Consultant (TC) for our Sugar Land office. The SPI Technical Consultant classification is specific to the individuals who have advanced knowledge of SPI and an advanced knowledge of Instrumentation/Control Systems standards and practices. The classification knowledge requirements are as follows:

Qualifications:

Advanced knowledge of P&ID’s, wiring diagrams, Loop drawings, schematics, specification sheets, installation details; and their implementation in SPI
Minimum of 10+ years of advanced experience with SPI modules (Engineering and Design)
A SPI Technical Consultant will have the following SPI capabilities:
Creation and customization of ESL background files and symbols
Advanced knowledge with SPI ESL layouts, macros, redlining, and smart text implementation
Linking multiple SPI general Signals
Advanced knowledge with creation of Foundation Fieldbus instruments, segments, IO association, multi-input devices, and drawings
Advanced knowledge with creation of Hart, Serial, and Profibus instruments, IO association, multi-input devices, and drawings
Creation of Multi-Item data sheet templates and instrument data sheets
Exporting and Importing ISF files
Basic understanding of the SPI Administration module (access rights, projects, claims and merges, domain creation, etc.)
Basic understanding of source file data manipulation and interpretation for SPI data imports (identifying instrument types, service descriptions, equipment, etc.)
Identify data quality challenges with provided source files
Creation of data sheet mapping for source data sheets to be implemented in SPI
Provide basic and advanced SPI training and consulting services
Customize SPI Specification forms
Strong knowledge of SPI administration module (access rights, projects, claims and merges, domain creation, etc.)
Strong knowledge of source file data manipulation and interpretation for SPI data imports (identifying instrument types, service descriptions, equipment, etc.)
Basic understanding of the SPI Import Utility
Basic understanding of SQL statements
Creating SPI procedures for data implementation, quality control, project schedules, project tracking, etc. based on client or industry standards
