Seeking Senior Electrical Engineer
Key Experience & Skills
5+ years’ experience in the development of comprehensive electrical construction and specification packages suitable to be stamped by a Professional Engineer and submitted for authority plan check, comprised of at least the following:
Load studies
Single line diagrams
Plot plan & area/building detail diagrams
Lighting
Grounding
Conduit and cable schedules
Construction specifications
Equipment and installation details
Additional experience in the following drawings preferred:
Area classification drawings
Motor/breaker schematics and wiring diagrams
Lightning Protection
Knowledgeable of the requirements detailed in National Electrical Code (NEC), IEEE 3000 Series (formerly known as color books), and API 500 (preferred)
Adept at the use of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
Experience with power system modeling tools – ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower preferred
Experience with electrical power relay settings generation and implementation – GE Multilin and SEL preferred
Highly effective at written and verbal communications
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam Completion
Professional Engineer License, or ability to complete licensure within 2 years preferred
