LNG Process Engineers

Job Description 

 

The candidate should be able to work as part of a team or show leadership capabilities managing areas or systems within projects.  Must have experience and be proficient in developing heat and material balances using process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS and process flow diagrams (PFDs). Strong proficiency with simulation software is preferred. Experiences within LNG, cryogenics, hydrogen, biofuels, or carbon capture are preferred. Experience required with piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) development as well as experience generating fluid hydraulic calculations for line sizing and formulation of process data for in-line instruments and loads for rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, and turbines.

 

Job Qualifications

 

• Guiding, reviewing, and approving process design simulations, Design Basis’, PFDs, Utility Load Lists, Equipment List, equipment sizing, and leading or conducting process studies

• Coordinating and reviewing information between the engineering disciplines, non-engineering disciplines (e.g. Subcontracts, Estimating, and Procurement), and vendors

• Licensor analysis, selection, and coordination

• Experience with feasibility studies, configuration analyses, and direct client interface

• Greenfield and brownfield experience specific to LNG or cryogenics preferred

• Field / Operations / start-up experience preferred

• EIT or PE preferred

• From a broad perspective, likely candidates could have anywhere between 10-25 years relevant experience
