Civil Structural Engineer Supervisor

Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities

• Structural Engineering
• Designing of heavy industrial/manufacturing structures
• Writing specifications (geotechnical, building, etc.)
• Site Layout
• Coordinating with Structural AutoCAD designers
• Site grading coordination
• Structural failure analysis
• Construction Documents
• Providing engineering support for construction
• Creating and review of project drawings
• Construction Support
• Evaluating vendor proposals
• Shop drawing review
• Construction cost estimating
• Contractor scope of work development
• Bid package and BOM development
• Project Quality Assurance and Quality Control
• Conducts technical review of discipline engineering deliverables.
• Performs discipline engineering tasks within the structural knowledge base.
• Mentoring
• Acts as Engineer-of-Record and review/seal designs created by other team members.
• Assist with training/mentoring less experienced engineers and designers.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Company Hours

This position works from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Hours vary and are dependent on business needs.
40-Hour Work Week
Monday through Friday, Hours may vary with the workload.
Evenings/Weekends/OT
Position may require occasional overtime including weekend work depending on task
