Review vendor drawings for accuracy and missing information.
Develop 3D models of vendor-supplied equipment and structures.
Create detailed models and fabrication drawings for chutes and ducts.
Produce accurate piping isometrics and drafting piping plan drawings.
Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure a holistic and accurate design.
Utilize P&ID drawings to develop 3D piping models.
Prepare and review bills of materials to ensure accurate procurement.
Perform facility walk downs and create as-built drawings.
Accurately track and coordinate vendor documentation.
Undertake additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
Essential Functions:
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) for creating and modifying engineering drawings and models.
Strong understanding of engineering principles and design standards.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot inaccuracies and missing information.
Effective communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Organizational skills to manage and track multiple tasks and documentation.
Capability to perform on-site assessments and translate them into accurate drawings.
Adherence to project timelines and deadlines.
Problem-solving mindset to address design challenges and develop creative solutions.
