As an Analyzer Engineer you will be responsible for Analytical Instrumentaion and Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS)
General Job Requirements:
Strong background in Analytical Instrumentation and Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS)
Ability to write Functional Specifications and Technical Specifications
Experienced with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and start-up of process and CEMS analyzer systems
Knowledge of control systems and instrumentation as applied to process analyzers and CEMS
Ability to specify and procure equipment as applied to process analyzers and CEMS systems
Experienced and knowledgeable with the following analyzer types: NOx, SOx, CO, Calorimeters, industrial Gas Chromatographs, NIR, etc.
Familiar with major environmental legislation, codes and standards as they relate to analyzer engineering including NEC, NFPA, SCAQMD, EPA, BAAQMD etc.
Knowledge of data acquisition management, PLC programming, source testing, material acquisition and client database interactions.
Knowledge of sample conditioning system design for liquid and gas streams
Ability to perform calculations required for the design of these systems is desired (chemistry background).
Minimum five years petrochemical experience
Graduate engineer in one of the following disciplines: Process, Electrical of Control Systems, Chemical Engineering
Ability to engineer, along with a designer, a complete analyzer integration project from customer specifications
