As an Analyzer Engineer you will be responsible for Analytical Instrumentaion and Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS)

General Job Requirements:
  • Strong background in Analytical Instrumentation and Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS)
  • Ability to write Functional Specifications and Technical Specifications
  • Experienced with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and start-up of process and CEMS analyzer systems
  • Knowledge of control systems and instrumentation as applied to process analyzers and CEMS
  • Ability to specify and procure equipment as applied to process analyzers and CEMS systems
  • Experienced and knowledgeable with the following analyzer types: NOx, SOx, CO, Calorimeters, industrial Gas Chromatographs, NIR, etc.
  • Familiar with major environmental legislation, codes and standards as they relate to analyzer engineering including NEC, NFPA, SCAQMD, EPA, BAAQMD etc.
  • Knowledge of data acquisition management, PLC programming, source testing, material acquisition and client database interactions.
  • Knowledge of sample conditioning system design for liquid and gas streams
  • Ability to perform calculations required for the design of these systems is desired (chemistry background).
  • Minimum five years petrochemical experience
  • Graduate engineer in one of the following disciplines: Process, Electrical of Control Systems, Chemical Engineering
  • Ability to engineer, along with a designer, a complete analyzer integration project from customer specifications
