This allows the client flexibility in managing the needs for technical expertise and capital expenses. On-site Turn-key Project Team:Let IS&T's project managers scope out and propose a solution for your IT needs. Whether you plan to re-design, install or develop a new system, we can build a project team to meet your technical requirements. The team, located on the client site, can be managed by either the client's project managers or IS&T staff. This is a great solution for implementing large applications or rolling out new systems. Plan in Place?Developing a project staffing plan involves selecting and assembling a project team. The staffing plan specifies when and how to meet the requirements for staffing the project. The staffing plan builds on the high-level staffing needs identified in the Initiate Stage. Items to consider in the project staffing plan:

This can help to determine if the client is providing competitive compensation for current staff or to attract new hires. Employee Retention Programs - Designed to explore options that a company might exercise in trying to retain current staff or reduce turnover. Plan for promotions, training, new technology, benefits, comp time etc. Attrition Studies - A very helpful service designed to discover why an organization might have high levels of attrition. Exit Interviews - Let a 3rd party conduct exit interviews, find out the real reason an employee might have decided to leave. Direct HireRetained SearchIn retained search assignments, the client hires IS&T as a search consultant. IS&T will come to your company site and conduct a thorough analysis of the position(s). We will then report any areas of weakness that might hinder the ability to attract the right candidate or coach the client in the hiring process. This level of search assignment guarantees that a recruiter on our staff will be 100% dedicated on a full-time basis until the position is successfully filled. For retained searches, a non-refundable portion of the placement fee is paid upfront to cover expenses. Contingency SearchWhen we take a search assignment on a contingency basis, our fee will not be earned until the open position is successfully filled by one of our candidates. Contract to HireContract-to-hire is a very popular method of hiring computer professionals in today's market. We will retain a contract employee on IS&T payroll and assign them to the client site. This allows both the candidate and the hiring company a period of time to evaluate one another. After the evaluation period is over, the candidate converts to a full-time employee of the client. Many of our clients require staff augmentation or supplemental staffing for busier times of the year or staff shortages. These requirements can last from a few weeks to over a year. Often times, these contracted individuals are asked to become full time employees. IS&T Staffing offers an optional contract-to-hire agreement. This agreement allows the employee to serve a "probationary" period after which the professional may be hired on as a full time employee. In addition, several of IS&T Staffing's IT professionals prefer to remain contracted employees of IS&T and will move from client to client for long term assignments. |
